How I went from Yarn to Stationary!

Sjöström Design is a UK based business selling digital items for planner lovers.

The “Swede” in question is me, Tanja. I’m originally from Stockholm, Sweden, and I met my [British] husband in 1995 while he was working there. When he moved back to London in 1996, we decided I should come with him...

I used to be an Indie Dyer, selling hand dyed yarn here on Etsy under the name of The Knitting Swede, before having to give it up due to the strain it took on my hands.
I also design knitting and crochet patterns (currently sold on Ravelry).

Sjöström Design was born out of my love of stationary and my inability to completely give up the 'yarny' part of my life, such as knitting/crochet designing...
However, I could not very well sell planner products under The Knitting Swede banner, BUT, I could sell BOTH under the umbrella name of Sjöström Design.

So, I decided to re-brand my existing Etsy shop, jigg things around a bit, and hopefully in the future I'll be able to sell both types of crafty things without too much confusion!

Thank you for visiting,
