Beautifully made! I'm a little sad to be giving them away as Christmas gifts. I want one!

About

I started before I realized what I was doing.

In college I wanted to have my own shop. I chose the name long before I actually started my business. Growing up I had a difficult time finding clothes in the store that I liked. So I made them myself. After having my first child I found the same problem. I started creating things that I wanted or wished I had with my first baby. I also felt it important to hold my items to a standard above what was typically found in a retail chain.

Each project has a long process. I choose all the fabric and thread individually. The fabric is then laundered in a fragrance and dye free detergent. Then it is pressed and folded for the beginning of the project. The fabric is picked and paired with embroideries and threads. The items are cut out and the assembly begins. I use high quality stabilizers, threads, needles and accessories to increase the longevity of each item. During the process of creating the items are pressed, turned and sewn again to produce a quality that I would appreciate if I was receiving it.

I've been sewing for over 20 years but I still find new techniques, patterns and ideas that keep me enchanted with sewing! Though it is only one of my passions in life it keeps me actively engaged.
