Frequently asked questions

What kind of card are the Fingerprint Trees printed onto?

Our fingerprint trees come printed onto a thick 340gsm smooth white card. We spent a long time finding the best card to take the ink from the ink pads.

How are the Fingerprint Trees posted out?

Our fingerprint trees come rolled in plastic and placed inside a postal tube. We have found this is the best method to avoid any damage whilst in transit. If being sent within the UK our fingerprint trees are sent recorded 1st class delivery. Outside of the UK they are sent using Royal Mail International Tracked postage.

What pen is best to use with the Fingerprint Trees?

We have found that the best pens to use are fast drying pens to avoid smudging, so biros, gel pens or a thin sharpy. You also want to use a pen that doesn't bleed.
