What a lovely and unusual vase. I have a friend who would greatly appreciate the elegant lotus design. I can't wait to see the smile on her face when I give it to her as a birthday present! Thank you for making it possible for us to enjoy it!

About

I look for the unique items that cannot be found just anywhere.

My shop is:
https://www.etsy.com/shop/thelongacreflea

Every weekend my husband and I get up early and scout out the barn sales and old Victorian homes holding estate sales here in the Gold Country of California. Once a month we travel to another city to hunt for un-local treasures. My eye goes to the unique and interesting items that not only have beauty but also tell a story of a time long gone. We have also had the opportunity to travel to Europe to bring back wonderful things.

My shop is pretty much a one woman show other than my family that passes out my card and calls me when they hear of someone wanting to down size as I buy estates as well as individual items. My husband helps with the packing and shipping.

My workshop is comprised of an office, a studio room and a large detached garage in our old Victorian home as well as an attic room for other storage.

We live in a small town in Northern California and all of our kids and 10 grandchildren live within 5 miles of us. We are music lovers and musicians, soap makers, costumers, home crafters, gourmet cooks, contractors and history buffs.

My love for the hunt of anything vintage and beautiful fits well in my lifestyle. I spend mornings walking the trails or listing new things and afternoons with my grandchildren and visiting my mum. This is what I love to do and am blessed to be profitable at something I adore doing.

It all started with my grandmother. Her home held such a feast for my inquisitive young mind...as an adult I continued to love and find older things that would tell stories of a time past. I hope to pass that on to others.
