Additional policies and FAQs

►Hand stamping is not a perfect process as I stamp each letter and/or symbol individually with care using an 100 year old anvil and a really heavy hammer.

However, slight imperfections occur and are unique to each hand stamped item.

I take great pride in locating beautiful patterns which maybe up to 100 years old! In addition, I love the historical research aspect of each and every pattern. Before placing an item up online I look forward to locating the pattern's name and the year it was first produced. This is a special historical touch I enjoy providing for you!

Every silver plated item arrives gift wrapped with a "care card" which explains how to care for your new item.

All silver plated pieces may have signs of wear from years gone by such as small superficial scratches. Please read each item's description carefully as I will explain the quality of each piece to the best of my ability, ranging from shabby with evidence of silver plate loss to gun metal gray to like new with little wear and lots of shine.

Ultimately, my hand stamped silverware are designed to blend beautifully with any style or era.

►Complimentary Gift Wrap for Hand Stamped Items:

Most stamped silverplated flatware will arrive in an elegant black box with a silver ribbon. Honestly, it just depends on the size of the piece.

If it does not fit in a box I will still wrap it in tissue paper with a lovely coordinating ribbon!

Also, a "care card" and the pattern's name & year will be included as an extra touch!

Feedback is an important part of my business so if you are happy with your purchase, please take a minute to say so!

If for ANY reason you have a problem with your purchase, please contact me before leaving negative feedback.

I would appreciate it if you would give me the chance to clear up any misunderstandings.

►Caring for your Hand Stamped Silver Plate Beauties of the Past!

Silver plate that is used infrequently is apt to tarnish and as a result will need some polishing. However, when used regularly your silver plate actually improves with appearance:)

Hand wash promptly after each use with hot water, mild soap and dry thoroughly.

Never place in the dishwasher it will ruin the patina of the silver plate!

Thank you for your business,
