Countering the ugly by pouring out the lovely.
The Lovely Words was born out of desire to teach my little ones that their words matter. As a family we focus on using words to build up one another and to comfort. I began by painting a huge chalkboard on the wall of our great room. It was there that I first began to write out Lovely Words for all to see. The constant reminder of beauty found in words, and the changes those words influenced, spilled over into this shop. A shop full of prints and scripture memory cards exuding lovely words.
My prints are a combination of pen and paper illustrations and digital art. I find inspiration everywhere but mostly from the books I read and the children I'm raising.
