I have also been a crafter, designer, scrapbooker, artist, and more. My hubby convinced me to take my passion for crafting a step further and open an Etsy shop. I had actually found Etsy by accident online, and told him about it. I spent about a year reading the forums daily. LOL. I learned a lot.

My hubby came up with the name....TheMaddArtist! Totally fits me! Not because I am always mad, lol, but because I am madd for crafting! Sort of like the Mad Scientist....his words. LOL. He too helps me come up with ideas and is super supportive, which is wonderful!

I honestly haven't brought a card in over 10 years, probably longer. I used to buy 2 and 3 cards because they all would say how I felt. When I started making cards I said to myself "blank cards are awesome, you can tell the person exactly how you feel and they will be the only one on earth, with that particular card!" How awesome is that!

I love what I do. I've met so many lovely people. I love the positive feedback and the thought of making someone smile when they open their goodies! I personally love receiving handmade gifts. It's not about the money. The passion that goes into handmade is amazing, and you can tell by the quality of the product.

Crafting is my stress relief and a way to spread my creativity and happiness world-wide!

Keep in mind that you do not have to have a PayPal account to pay by this method. You can use any credit card.

All payments must be made on the day of the purchase. If you change your mind please contact me as soon as possible and IF it has not been shipped then your order can be canceled/refunded. Once an order is shipped it is too late to cancel.

Custom orders must be paid for before the item is made. Upon receipt of payment I will begin making it and send it out. When contacted about a custom order I will give you a rough estimate on how long it will take to make the item.

All products are shipped within 2-3 business days of receiving payment.
Items will be mailed USPS/ FIRST CLASS mail with DELIVERY CONFIRMATION, under the current shipping price.

The shipping price includes materials fee (not just the actual shipping fee)

All orders will be shipped MONDAY-SATURDAY.
* I am UNABLE to ship via USPS on SUNDAYS and HOLIDAYS.

[HOLIDAY ORDERS]
I do understand that the Holiday season brings in a lot of last minute orders. I ask that you order in a timely manner. As of now, I ship USPS First Class. Shipping can be upgraded. Listing or invoice will be adjusted to reflect shipping upgrade.

The following dates are based on USPS published cut off dates for shipments estimated to arrive prior to Dec 25.

DEC 8 (made to order must be ordered no later than Dec 1; ready to ship no later than Dec 6)

[DOMESTIC US]
DEC 21 (made to order must be ordered no later than Dec 14; ready to ship no later than Dec 19)

- Please note that MADE to order items will cease production on Dec 21 and resume on Jan 4; Ready to ship items will ship throughout the holiday period on BUSINESS DAYS. Dec 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31 and Jan 1, 2, 3 are NOT business days this year)

TheMaddArtist cannot mark an order as a "gift" as that is a federal crime with hefty penalties in the US. Also, TheMaddArtist is not responsible for paying taxes levied by another country.

All products are created using ACID and LIGNIN free CARDSTOCK, SCRAPBOOK PAPER, and EMBELLISHMENTS.

[ GIFT WRAPPING AND PACKAGING ]

I'd love to wrap your little gift up nice for the recipient.

[ A REMINDER ABOUT COLORS ]

I do my best to ensure that photos are as TRUE TO COLOR as possible. However, due to inconsistencies of different monitors, lighting sources, and digital photography, I CANNOT guarantee that the color you see on your screen accurately portrays the true color of the product.

[ LOST PACKAGE ]

Unfortunately, once a package has been shipped, with a TRACKING NUMBER, it is out of our hands. Please contact your local post office. Further action may be required, ie: filing a police report for "theft", as "Porch Piracy" is on the rise. PACKAGE THEFT is not covered with SHIPPING INSURANCE and I will not replace at my expense.

Please make sure that you have entered the CORRECT MAILING ADDRESS. If you didn't receive your item due to an incorrect address, that you provided, you will be responsible for re-shipping cost. Please KEEP TRACK OF YOUR DELIVERY day so you know when its being delivered.

[ CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER ]

Yes. Unless it’s a PERSONALIZED OR CUSTOM order.

In MOST cases the order can be canceled BEFRORE it’s shipped.
But as some orders are ready to ship within couple hours I ask you to cancel your order within 3 HOURS AFTER PURCHASE.
