Update: The shop owner did reach out to me to kindly share several videos on putting in hair bows on dogs. Although I was familiar with most of the techniques I did find some new helpful hints and was anxious to give it another try. Sadly our results were the same. I think for my dog the bands are too large and stretchy and the yarn poofs are too heavy. I was so excited to find these adorable dog bows for my Shih Tzu but so disappointed that I couldn't get them to stay in Bailey's hair. After several tries I emailed the owner of this shop to see if there was something else I could do to make them work but sadly she never responded to my email. I'm assuming that these bows were meant for larger breeds. I wish that had been stated in the description.

As Suzanne mentioned, I did respond within a couple of hours, reaching out a total of 5 times. A refund was offered, but declined. A big thank you to Suzanne for trying several times to get the accessories to work for her pooch. Even though the size of the bands and accessories are listed, I'm sorry they still didn't work out for her.

About

Providing a Little Bit of Joy in an Otherwise Chaotic, Busy Day

I created the Meticulous Whim out of a need to whittle away at something because apparently having two children and being pregnant with the third wasn't enough. ;)

I have a tendency to anthropomorphize my creations because it makes me smile. And if they make me smile, surely they must make others smile. So, my creations are here to provide that little bit of joy in an otherwise chaotic, busy day.

I also love detail, which is where my love of crochet comes from. I find that it can be very therapeutic and enjoy the chance to share some of my patterns and designs with others!

I can be obsessive (meticulous, I like to call it... ;) ), but at the end of the day, my husband and children remind me that I need to let go, and invite a little bit of whim.

If you're looking for my other shop offering my designs on shirts, temporary tattoos, coloring pages, digital paper, and more, go here: MetWhimDigital (www.metwhimdigital.etsy.com).

Thank you for stopping by!
