5 out of 5 starsKathy you are a truly magnificent artist! These necklaces are all masterpieces that I feel so privileged to have. They are wearable poetry and to behold them is to be filled with joy and delight and to feel the power of art and beauty. Kathy, besides being so gifted an artist you are such a kind and lovely person and I thank you with all my heart.

Owner, Designer
My Mom encouraged me in my artistic endeavors from a very young age. She bought me some of my first beads and taught me to string, and I've been doing it ever since. I'm also a graphic designer, and in my spare time, I like to write about food.
Shop policies
My artistic juices flowed in other directions in the 80s, and I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Illustration in 1988. Shortly thereafter, however, I took a seed beading class there on a whim, and I became addicted. Working with tiny beads seems like it might be difficult or stressful, but I find it to be extremely relaxing. Because one must concentrate on the color arrangement and on picking up the beads with a needle, it's difficult to think about anything else. It's a great way to calm down, to spend an hour or four thinking of nothing, while something beautiful unfolds in front of me.
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
