Shipped in a reasonable amount of time and arrived in perfect condition. The textile is in great condition - still a bright green. Very comfortable for doing work in - stuffing intact. Goes with my kooky mid-century modern decor and makes me happy :) Shop owner is very communicative. Great customer service.

About

Vintage Motorhomes are a good way to get into selling vintage!

The long and the short. I love vintage, salvage, upcycling and repair.

I was in Florida restoring vintage motorhomes, Airstreams and GMC's, and I'd been spending a lot of time helping my girlfriend in her vintage clothing shop. She'd come into this just as I met her and after a year her partner retired to selling solely online. So she needed a partner. And although I loved the work I was doing I was looking for a more active role in running a business. We joined forces and soon after I opened a space next door that was only furniture, art and housewares to compliment the vintage clothes. After running the shops successfully for just around three years we decided to move to my hometown in Virginia.

Winchester, VA might not have the traffic or customer base that we had in central Florida but we do have a variety of other opportunities. I run the shop out of a converted barn on an old family farm, repair vintage (and mowers, chainsaws, broke old cars) and am working on setting up an off the grid residence with a yurt and Airstream. Our lives have only gotten busier in this small town but vintage and the warmth of objects with age is something I thoroughly enjoy finding and sharing.

Owner, I Handle It All But Pass Some Of The Computer Intensive Work Off When I Can

I've been a picker and a looker since I was dragged around to auctions by my parents at a young age. I've got a deep rooted appreciation for the warmth and pleasure that a vintage object imparts to a home or owner. Keep on ramblin!

I stumble across a lot of different things rambling into the industrial past. Good stuff you can really use and look at. Useful and interesting pieces with life left in them. They get a good cleaning and a friendly home and one day they eventually travel on. Back on the road for someone else to enjoy. Then bought and appreciated, fondly used. Years later maybe you get to pass one of these things on too. This joy in vintage and material rambling; lets see how long we can make it last.
