About themoderngreen
A photographer exploring & loving plants!
Hi y'all! I'm Vivian! I was raised in sunny South Florida and now reside in Baltimore City, Maryland. Growing up in a tropical region, I was surrounded with bright, colorful plants and greenery all year round. After moving north to Baltimore, and experiencing seasons for the first time, I felt such a lack of consistent nature in my life. I started taking photos of plants to hang on my walls to fill that void.
I fell more and more in love with this project as I started visiting local nurseries, conservatories, botanical gardens, and taking walks in my neighborhood to photograph beautiful flora.
This is an ongoing project, so there will always be new prints popping up in my shop. Mother Nature will always provide me with new beauties to explore and learn about. :)
