About

My Creative Buzz

I started my shop because I realized that I love quirky clothing and accessories, but you can't always find fun pieces pieces at basic stores. One day it clicked that I could just try making things myself and, when I discovered Etsy, I knew the time was right. It took a while to find the right medium, but I eventually fell in love with making accessories. I am constantly exploring new areas and materials. While not everything I make winds up in my shop, The Morose Bee constantly pushes me forward in my process. Creating jewelry and accessories is such a therapeutic time for me and it's made all the more wonderful when someone is excited to purchase and own something that I've made!

I'm a Florida born girl who spent a lot of childhood free time scrapbooking, sewing with scraps, and of course spending lots of time thrifting! Now I'm living in San Francisco where I create handmade accessories in my spare time.

All artwork is owned and design by me, but I don't have a machine to make patches.

Shipping
2018 Winter Holiday Shipping:
Final orders need to be in by December 18th. On December 19th, my shop will go on vacation until January 1st.

Whenever possible, I will ship the day I receive payment, however, sometimes it may take me up to 3 business days to get to the post office. With that said, your item should take about a week to arrive at your door for domestic orders.

**International Shipping: I do not like to give estimates for international shipping. I have no problem shipping internationally, I just cannot guarantee how long it will take with customs.
Additional policies and FAQs
The items posted in my store do not always showcase the range of projects/custom orders I have completed not only on Etsy, but for people in my community. From mosaics to quilts, I'm open to custom orders so feel free to contact me!
