This poncho is just WOW. I have upcycled sweaters from several makers and the pieces I have purchased from this seller has THE BEST workmanship, fit, and finish. And the super-angora is truly as magickal as described!

About

Friends have told me I am a magpie: everywhere I go, I am reaching for sumptuous textures, exciting colors, magical materials, and sparkly gems to collect for my nest. For me, the process of crafting unfolds best when I gather objects as they speak to me and then allow them to wait and tell me what they want to become. I rescue many things from the waste stream and imbue them with new life. In a world where so much of our needs are cheaply commodified and questionably sourced, I feel compelled to work against the tide and offer alternatives.

When I was a young single mom, I was given my first sewing machine, and used it to make all my baby's diapers and carriers out of repurposed materials. My children are grown now, but that amazing world which opened up for me back then still goes strong as I channel my artistic drive and weave my findings into functional, beautiful designs.

I only create what I love. The garments I sew become so alive to me that I must talk myself out of keeping them. I crave sensuous, sturdy textures as well as fun and functional designs, and I find deep joy in bringing all those things together.

Shipping
I love to combine shipping! Since I do not have any standard weights on my items, and they are quite bulky, we can do this two different ways:
1) Pay for all your items. I will deduct the extra price and refund it to you when I have packaged and weighed them together.
2) Contact me for a custom listing. I will post a listing with your items in it with the combined shipping charge, and that is all you will pay. The listing will remain active for 72 hours.
Refunds and Exchanges
***I can only accept returns on unwashed, unused items!*** Please take note of the care recommendations for an item before you buy it. I cannot be held responsible for washing machine mishaps!

I accept returns within 30 days of purchase. You are responsible for providing shipping back to me, and I cannot issue a refund until the returned item is in my hands. If you return your item within 60 days of purchase, I will be happy to issue you a store credit for future purchases or offer you another item of equal value from my available stock.
