5 out of 5 starsI have plenty of foraging books that are far to large and heavy to carry on hikes and foraging trips but this one is perfect.

Frequently asked questions
RE: Pocket Guide. Is this book applicable beyond the pacific northwest?
Yes! One of the criteria for selecting plants in this pocket guide is their distribution. While there are a few plants more specific to the pacific northwest, the majority are plants which have been naturalized across North America and in some cases many parts of the world. Most likely you will readily recognize these as "weeds" in your own backyard.
What precautions am I taking to prevent the spread of Covid-19 on shipments of the Pocket Guide?
I personally take the safety and health of others very seriously. All books have been prepackaged in advance, preventing the need for me to handle them directly before shipping/delivery. Most health experts agree that the virus cannot survive more than a few days on hard surfaces. I will always take steps to clean/sanitize my hands before applying the shipping label. With that said, however, I cannot control the handling care of the shipping provider - though it is commonly accepted that the virus cannot survive very long on porous surfaces such as cardboard and paper. When in doubt, sanitize everything.
Be safe and enjoy!
