Payment is due at time of order.

Occasionally some services, such as Paypal, will delay payment for various reasons. If this situation occurs, your order will ship when payment is received / cleared.
I know you can't wait to get your package – therefore I ship fast!


Stated shipping times are 1-3 business days from time of payment receipt. In reality, most items will be shipped within 1-2 business days, and often ship the same day your order is placed. However, shipment times can vary by item, so check the shipping section under the item listing for the most accurate shipping date.

I use recycled shipping and packaging materials when possible.

While I can't control shipments once they leave my shop, most domestic packages are typically delivered within 2-5 days of shipment, depending on your location.

A shipping notification, with tracking number if available, will be sent to you as soon as your package ships.


The Etsy shipping calculator is used when possible.

All other shipping costs are estimates based on size and weight and are valid only for zones within the lower 48 states. If you are outside the lower 48 (including Alaska, Hawaii, and other outlying U.S. zones), please contact me for an accurate shipping quote. This will avoid the need to invoice you for additional charges.

I charge only actual shipping costs. I never charge a handling fee, nor do I charge for packaging materials. If the calculated or estimated cost is overstated, any difference greater than $1.00 will be refunded to you.


Small domestic packages weighing 13 ounces or less are shipped via USPS First Class Mail.

Small items weighing more than 13 ounces are shipped via USPS USPS Priority Mail.

Heavy or bulky items are shipped best way, usually USPS or UPS Ground.


No items have been listed with international shipping rates. If you would like a shipping quote to your location, please send me a message. At your request I will provide the most economical quote I can, but unfortunately international shipping rates continue to increase. Please be aware that, with the exception of small, unbreakable paper and similar items, most packages are very expensive to ship – often more than the cost of the item purchased. I do not inflate the estimate and there is nothing I can do to lower the cost.

PLEASE NOTE that any custom fees, duties, tariffs, taxes, or other fees required by your country are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Because every country has different fees, these charges are NOT included in any quote I provide. Please contact your local customs office to determine what these fees will be before making your purchase.


I offer combined shipping for multiple items when possible (a few items cannot be combined for safety or weight limitations). Shipping costs are estimated based on size, weight, and the U.S. delivery zone furthest from me. A combined shipping charge will automatically be calculated in your shopping cart. Because of the variety of items in my shop, it is impossible to estimate shipping cost for multiple items accurately. If shipping charges are overstated, I will refund any difference greater than $1.00.

If you would like an actual combined shipping quote to your location, please contact me, noting the items you would like to purchase and your zip code. If you commit to purchase, I will reserve the items for you and change the shipping prior to purchase.


If a package is damaged in transit, please let me know within 2 days of receiving your order. Please keep the original shipping carton and packaging materials. Additional information or photos of the damaged package may be required in order to file a claim. In some cases, the shipping carrier will retrieve the package to complete a claim. All claims must be made within 2 days of package delivery.

Damage claims must be made by contacting my shop, not the shipping carrier. If you have any questions, please contact me. Refunds on damaged packages can take up to 30 days, depending on the shipping carrier.


If you need your order expedited, please contact me for a quote and I'll do what I can to meet your needs.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not offer refunds unless I grossly misrepresent an item or its condition.

All item listings include detailed information about the item, its condition, and dimensions. Please reference photos, which are included as part of the description. Most of my items are vintage and/or antique (used) and purchased from estate sales, auctions, flea markets, etc. They may have flaws, blemishes, and odors consistent with age. While in my care, all items are stored in a non-smoking environment, but I cannot confirm how items were cared for or stored in their prior lives. All items are sold "as is".

If you are unsure about an item, or unsure if it will suit your needs, please ask questions before purchasing - I am happy to supply you with more information, if needed.

Customer satisfaction is very important to me. I do want you to be happy with your purchase from The Old Milk Barn. If you receive something you believe is unreasonably different than your expectations, please let me know so that I may rectify the situation. I value your business and want you to be happy with your shopping experience!
