From a career in Civil Engineering to being an artist. Not a typical journey for an artist. My art was a blessing brought out of the latest economic recession. I have always enjoyed drawing and painting, and finally found time to explore my artistic interests, once my career slowed down.

I started painting scripture art as a way to encourage my kids to memorize scripture - after all, if a child stares at the same scripture painting every day, surely the child will soon have the verse "hidden in their hearts!"

I have slowly drifted toward other types of art, but am always aware that God gives me my talent. He has given us a beautiful world, and I enjoy creating pretty paintings to place on the walls when we are inside and cannot easily see his beautiful creation.
