Mom of 3, following my passion!
From a career in Civil Engineering to being an artist. Not a typical journey for an artist. My art was a blessing brought out of the latest economic recession. I have always enjoyed drawing and painting, and finally found time to explore my artistic interests, once my career slowed down.
I started painting scripture art as a way to encourage my kids to memorize scripture - after all, if a child stares at the same scripture painting every day, surely the child will soon have the verse "hidden in their hearts!"
I have slowly drifted toward other types of art, but am always aware that God gives me my talent. He has given us a beautiful world, and I enjoy creating pretty paintings to place on the walls when we are inside and cannot easily see his beautiful creation.

One day after dropping the kids at school, I got "very, very brave" and decided to try and sell my art on Etsy. I was super-surprised when my first item sold within 15 minutes of being listed!! What a blessing! I took that sale to mean "go for it!"

I am a self-taught artist, so everything has that 'original' flair. Forgive my imperfections. Brush strokes are evident on all pieces. All items are hand-painted.
