I enjoy an eclectic aesthetic, and I love to experiment with whatever components I have. Sometimes you'll see similar themes here and there, but hopefully there will be a piece or two that gets your attention.

My items are minimally photoshopped, and when they are, it's to make them look more accurate to life rather to enhance them. I only use natural light. Depending on the season, the time of day, and the angle I take the shot, the light sometimes has a different hue: summer tends to have a reddish tint, while winter tends to make the light bluer. In spring and summer, the sun reflects off bushes outside my window and makes the light a little green. In autumn, the light is a little golden from the changing leaves. The light also varies between cloudy and sunny, sometimes on the same partly cloudy day!

Different angles can produce noticeably different color. This is why I try to have pictures from many different angles.

Also keep in mind that different brightness settings on different computers have an effect.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept PayPal, paid within three days of the purchase. If payment has not been made within 72 hours of the purchase, I cancel the sale and relist the item. I will let you know through convo and email if the payment has not gone through.

If you live in Texas, there is a mandatory 8.25% sales tax that happens automatically.

Prices are determined by a set formula.
Shipping
I have base prices for shipping, regardless of the item bought. If the item is larger and requires more elaborate shipping, the base price goes up a little bit. I try to use recycled packaging whenever I can, but your item will be safely put in a gift tin or gift box for its protection (and you get a lovely gift tin or gift box in the process).

I do not include an invoice in your package - you can print one out if you need it for your records (ask me in the case that you need a paper invoice from me). Otherwise, I like to cut down on the paper usage in my packages, especially if it's unnecessary for the buyer to have a receipt.

I do not ship to Mexico or Italy.

I ONLY ship USPS First Class (unless otherwise arranged BEFORE purchase) Monday-Friday, usually the business day after a sale is made. I'll let you know if otherwise due to inclement weather or another unavoidable obstacle.

Unless otherwise specified, I will ship as long as post offices are open. During holidays, specifically Christmas, you might allow 7 business days to get your package in the mail instead of the usual 3-5 days. However, an excellent way of dealing with a late purchase is printing out the item and wrapping it up like a gift, as a sort of IOU.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not offer refunds for broken glass components after two weeks following shipment of your item. If the jewelry item is not what you expected or want, I am willing to refund sale and shipping within two weeks of the purchase, *provided the item is returned*. I always try to accurately represent my items in the photos, and if you don't like it in spite of something is clearly in the description, I'm afraid that I will not offer a refund. A few of my measurements are approximations rather than exact measurements, but if the measurement is more than a 1/2" off, that is inaccurate representation, and I will offer a refund *for a return*.

Be sure to be gentle with your pieces. Just about everything breaks if you drop it on a stone or cement floor. Glass shatters and scratches, I use unsoldered chain, and some of the brass filigree I use is less flexible (bend it enough and it will break). While you don't have to treat it like a Ming vase, try not to use it as a baseball or anything. Many of the things I make cannot be replaced.

A good rule of thumb: treat everything as if it were glass. Glass is sturdy, but shatters under the right conditions. (Or wrong conditions, depending on how you view it.)

Additionally, some of my items are made from vintage components. Vintage means age, and age means that there are sometimes slight nicks. This is part of the character of the pieces, and unless damage is egregious, I like the character.

Ask about the possibility of jewelry repair.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am always willing to make a custom order, as long as I am given an adequate springboard for creativity. If the piece requires supply purchases of over $30, I may request that payment be made prior to the creation of the item. If the item is not to your liking, I can alter it or refund your money.

Ask me about multiples. Many of my items are one of a kind, but quite a few can be replicated. The same policies regarding custom orders over $30 worth of supplies qualifies.

If you see something you like but would like any custom additions or if you would like to make it simpler, contact me. Some pieces I like to keep as they are, but I can simplify others at no additional cost and lower the price. I can take a pair of earrings and make a pendant instead, although I can't promise I can make a set of earrings and a necklace.
