The why...
The Painted Bomb is a woman owned business at first we had no clue as to what it would be like to own our own shop but now we are happy we took the plunge. My mom and I have always been creative looking for new ways to let our creativity flow. We love bath bombs and skin products and began making them for our selves and family.
We've met a lot of great people through Etsy, other shop owners and customers. My mother and I believe in strong customer service and take what we do very seriously. We take pride in our work and the products we create and sell.
We are always working on new products and testing, it takes a lot of time and effort to create our products and for the product to make it into our shop! We aren't out to make it rich :) not saying it wouldn't be nice but that isn't why we do it.
We believe in natural products that aren't full of chemicals, you find in the store. Not always are big commercial stores looking out for you but we are! We source and purchase organic butters and oils it may be a bit more expensive but we believe our customers should have the best if we are making it!
Walt Disney said "If you can dream it, you can do it". By golly we are doing it!

What oils and butters do you use within your products?
We use all organic oils and butter, we search and source for the best possible oils, butters and salts.

How do I use the Bubble Bars or Bath Bombs?
Bubble Bars:
Crumble/Break a piece off of the bar and place in a muslin bag or a nylon sock & set under the running tap so all the pieces melt & make bubbles. Hot water makes more bubbles than warm. Agitate the water by hand to fluff up more bubbles. Then enjoy a natural bubble bath with a delightful fragrance! The method keeps you from losing any pieces to the bottom of the tub.
Bath Bombs:
Fill Bath tub, unwrap bath bomb and drop into water. Fizzing and/or Fizzing and bubbles should start immediately.
Sugar Scrubs:
Begin with wetting the area you will be using the Scrub. Place a small amount in the palm of your hand and apply to the wet area begin gently rubbing the mixture in place. Once satisfied rinse thoroughly to remove.
How much does it cost to ship?
We offer multiple shipping options how much it will cost is dependent on the weight of the items ordered. If the weight is over 1 lb priority will need to be selected USPS First Class will not be an option. We have little control over this because USPS sets the amount due.
If you purchase multiple items if there are any overages charged on shipping we will refund any overage over $1.00. We keep a close eye on this to ensure you are not over charged for shipping.
What colorant is used to paint your Bath Bombs?
We use body safe colorant in the form dyes which do not stain you or your tub. We also use Mica's and glitter but will always be reflected within the listing. We take great care not to leave a mess in your our bath tub!
