About thepapernestdesigns
A curious and inventive child.
From a young age I started inventing and making things.
As an example on one of my birthday parties (my 7th) I invented and made a fully functional goodie bag machine (style slot machine) - where the children could win their goodie bags.
It was much appreciated and talked about for a long time by the guests.
Time passed and when it was time to choose a carrier it was natural to choose something in the creative field.
Encouraged by many people around me, I continued to pursue a career in fashion design.
Decide to try the most prestigious fashion school in Paris and was lucky enough to get accepted.
So I left my cold home country in the north (Sweden) for the bustling "City f Light" in my new home country of France.
After school, I worked many years in the glitz and glamour of the Paris Fashion scene.
It was hard work and not so glamorous as many people dream of. But I loved Paris and the French way of life. Got many friends from all over the world and learned a loot about other countries and their way of living and thinking.
Personal circumstance made me move back to Sweden and now when I look out my window I see a beautiful landscape and the grounds covered with soft, white snow.
The birds are chirping in the anticipation of spring and life is good.
I opened my Etsy shop for the same reasons as many other people in 2020 - got more time of my hands because of Covid-19 and decided to learn Photoshop.
Had to have a goal to work towards and one of my friends suggested that I should open an Etsy shop.
So here it is ThePaperNestDesigns.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do making the products.
