About

The Paper Sandbox

My love of crafting began as a way to keep my mind and hands busy when our sons were babies. As time went on, it became a way to earn extra money for vacations and other things that our budget wouldn't allow. I'd sew and craft into the wee hours of the morning so I could spend lovely hours chatting with customers and selling my wares at craft shows.

When we were transferred to a frigid part of the country I was introduced to card making and stamping and was instantly hooked. That journey led me to enter a contest to do design work for a company and the rest is history. I still save my money for vacations and things our budget won't allow, but your support of my shop has also allowed me to help support, Place of Hope, an organization of devoted people who love and care for children. My passions now are baking, cooking, beautiful ribbon, card making and loving on my family and friends.

It is said that you will never work day in your life if you do something you love. I LOVE what I do, and I love serving my customers. I hope it shows.

Sizing Details

PLEASE MEASURE CAREFULLY BEFORE ORDERING. We're always glad to answer questions prior to your order if you have a concern about fit or use.

Ribbon is custom cut at time of order. We try to cut all ribbon orders to the length ordered whenever possible.

Are bags and ribbon returnable/refundable?

We do not refund ribbon or bags since all orders are custom created at time of order. Ribbon samples may be requested prior to purchase.

EU buyers have 14 days to request a return with the exception of Custom bags which are not returnable. Please contact us in advance.

Shipping Times and Policies

PLEASE ORDER IN ENOUGH TIME FOR YOUR ORDER TO ARRIVE. WEATHER AND OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS AS WELL AS HOLIDAYS CAN SLOW THE MAIL.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LATE OR LOST MAIL AS THAT IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL. ALL ORDERS SHIP WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION.

YOU MAY USE THE DELIVERY CONFRIMATION NUMBER TO CHECK WITH YOUR POST OFFICE IF YOUR PACKAGE HASN'T ARRIVED.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS IS CORRECT. Buyers are responsible for providing a correct shipping address PRIOR TO CHECKOUT.

IF YOUR PACKAGE IS RETURNED FOR AN OUTDATED ADDRESS, AND THERE IS NO RESPONSE TO OUR EMAIL REQUESTING INFORMATION, A REFUND WILL BE GIVEN LESS THE POSTAGE AND A 10% RESTOCKING FEE.

Are full rolls of ribbon available?

We may have full rolls available. Please email us for information.

Do you offer ribbon/bag samples?

If you are the USA, we are happy to send up to 3 ribbon samples.

Bags are NOT available for samples but we are happy to answer any sizing/use questions prior to purchase.

Are VAT/GST or other International taxes included in pricing?

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS MAY BE SUBJECT TO TAXES, CUSTOMS AND OTHER FEES WHICH ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE.

THE VALUE OF YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE DECLARED AS "MERCHANDISE".

PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR COUNTRY'S GOVERNING BODY TO DETERMINE IF YOU WILL HAVE ADDITIONAL CHARGES OTHER THAN SHIPPING.

All Priority Mail International services containing merchandise are now insured by USPS against loss, damage, or missing contents up to $200 at no additional charge.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESS IS CORRECT. IF A PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL PACKAGE IS RETURNED, USPS WILL NOW CHARGE A FEE FOR THE RETURNED PACKAGE. THAT FEE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR REFUND ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL POSTAGE PAID.

What do I do if there's a problem with my order?

We make every effort to double check each order and check off each item as it is packaged, however, we are human. In the event we have sent an incorrect item, please let us know within 24 hours of receipt.
