Unique Functional Pottery for the Home
Right before the pandemic shut down our lives, I was gifted a kiln for my pottery. It was such a blessing and I am forever grateful to sweet Alison for her gift. I was terrified to run it as up to then, my pieces were fired in a community kiln and I really didn't know anything about firing schedules! I was just sure I would open my kiln and see melted glazes on the shelves or pieces that had exploded due to unknown reasons. Literally did not sleep that night! Well, I can tell you when I was finally able to open the cooled kiln, my eyes nearly shot out of my head! All my pieces were in beautiful shape. The colors were bright and happy and boy, I was now on my way to create beautiful things for everyone. I know so much now, and most importantly, I can trust my kiln!
