Announcement    When you wear a Plumed Serpent Headdress you become a work of art. I create extravagant and unique headdresses for performance, parties, masquerade, weddings, boudoir, special events, or just for looking fabulous. Each one is carefully handcrafted.

The headdresses will stay securely on your head for performances, etc. They secure to your head by combs fastened to the inside of the skullcap, which you push into your hair. There is also an elastic band that goes around the back of your head and can be concealed under the hair.

Layaway and custom commissions available.
Once final custom design is approved by client and shipped, there are no returns or exchanges.
A note on shipping to countries outside the US: additional shipping charges may need to be applied if costs exceed the prepaid amount.

Returns and exchanges
I take great care in creating a product that is carefully constructed and of great quality, and it's my goal that you are completely 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you wish to return an item(s), this is my policy:

Any returns must reach me within 7 days after the order is received, in it's original, unused condition with all tags attached. Please include a copy of your receipt. I suggest that all items be returned to me by a shipping method in which you can get a tracking number. If I do not receive a return (or it does not show up in my records as having been received), I cannot refund. I am not responsible for the packages been lost or damaged during transit caused by the shippers. Adding insurance is highly recommended for your return.

All shipping charges on returned merchandise are non-refundable. Item(s) must be sent back prepaid, I can't accept C.O.D. If the return is due to my error, the initial shipping fee will be waived.

A prompt refund will be credited in the form of the original payment method, as soon as the package has been received and processed.

There are no exchanges or returns on custom orders.
Payment
I accept PayPal and certified checks. Please note that you don't need to sign up for Paypal to use it. You can use a regular credit card through Paypal.

Prompt payment is most appreciated. After five days, I assume non-payment means cancellation and thus will do so. California purchases will be charged sales tax.
Shipping
Every effort will be made to ship items within two business days of payment being received.

Items shipping within the USA will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail. Please let me know if another shipping method is preferable to you and I will send you a revised invoice. If you would like insurance please let me know at time of sale, before payment.

I ship to your PayPal address once payment has been received. Indicate a different "ship to" address in the comments section of the order if needed. Fees associated with faster delivery requests are added to the purchase total.

Please take good care of your Plumed Serpent treasures. Every item is entirely handmade in my studio and is either a one-of-a-kind design or produced on a very limited edition basis. You'll love the sturdy construction and attention to every detail that goes into each design.

Again, since all of the items are handmade, there is a degree of variability within the designs. No two items are exactly alike. Patterns, accents, and sizes may vary ever so slightly from the photos.

Any liability is limited to the purchase price.
