    A lil' bit about The Polka Dot Tot Spot....

    Hello! My name is Heather! I live in a small town in central Illinois. This is where I grew up and plan to stay! I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and we have two blessings, Jayden and Julia!

    I am lucky to have 3 aunts (all sisters) who are amazingly talented quilters. When I was a teenager, they peaked my interest in sewing and taught me a lot!! When my daughter Julia was born, I thought it would be fun to make her some handmade toys and clothing. I had so much fun with it that I decided to try selling online. I tried out a few websites, but once I found Etsy my little hobby blossomed into my daily job! And I love every minute of it!!!

    Everything in my shop is designed and created by my own two hands. My favorite part is coming up with new designs and of course buying new fabric! I feel so blessed that I have customers who like my creations enough to purchase them, which in turn allows me the pleasure of working my own hours and from home!

    Welcome to The Polka Dot Tot Spot, the place to spot unique items for little tots!!

    All fabrics here have been pre-washed in free and clear detergent making toys ready for play. For best results I recommend washing your toys by hand and air drying. All clothing can be machine washed unless noted in the listing.

    PLEASE do not leave your child unsupervised with toys! I do feel these toys are safe enough to give to my own children but I also know that each child/baby has a unique way of playing and exploring!
