Returns and exchanges
At the moment i only accept returns on orders that are incorrect or not as described. If you have either of these two problems with your order you need to contact me the day the package arrives with details of what is wrong.
'Incorrect' orders are classed as orders where a different print or size of print was accidentally packed instead of the one you ordered.
'Not as described' orders are classed as ones that are sold as being free of rips or scribbles but do contain them. This can happen a very odd time when a mark will slip past me while quality checking a book.
At the moment you cannot return illustrations for these reasons:
1. You did not realise they were 'JUST' book pages.
2. The book page appears to be newer than you thought it would be (some books i receive are in extremely good condition for their age. This does not mean they are new. If it says on the listing that it is an item from the 1960's, then it is from the 1960's)
3. The illustration you received is blank on the back (some illustrations especially near the very front and very back of books have blank backs. i do not print these myself & nor are they proof that my illustrations are printed to order)
4. You changed your mind.
Once you have received the go-ahead from me you can send your order back. Once it arrives back to me in saleable condition i will issue you a refund for the original purchase price. Shipping costs will only be refunded if the book plate was not as described in the listing. I will not be responsible for damage caused during postage if you did not opt for insured shipping.

I don't have a lot of policies but here are the few i do have..
I sell illustrations that have been rescued from old books. When i say "illustrations" i mean the original illustrations, the actual pages. If there are 2 available it means i found 2 of that book along my travels. it doesnt mean i print them to order. Unfortunately, i cant change the background colors, add a childs name or print the image in a larger or smaller size. These pages have been around the block, usually owned by children so they will have signs of age. I am very particular about quality control though, so i never keep illustrations with rips or scribbles.
Although my little store is open 24-7 this is not my full time job. I reply to conversations every day but please do not get worried if you havent heard back from me within an hour.
Payments are via paypal & Etsys direct checkout system. If you use a PayPal e-check then I must wait for payment to clear before shipping. This can take anywhere from 4-10 working days. I cannot ship an order until this payment clears.

I generally ship once a week. This may not sound like a lot but i do live in a very remote part of ireland and the downside of that is the 1hr round trip to the nearest post office. If you need your package shipped asap do let me know and i will most likely be able to tailor my shipping day around you.
I ship using standard uninsured post to keep costs down. The irish postal service does not offer tracking with standard shipping. if you would like tracked, insured or expedited shipping just email me for a quote before you purchase.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
Please dont worry if after one week your item hasnt arrived. Packages from Ireland to international destinations can take from 6-30 days to arrive & unfortunately i cannot control this.
At most I get a chance to mark items as shipped once a week, sometimes it can be once every two weeks. So please do not worry if your item hadn't been marked as shipped yet, it does not in any way mean I have forgotten about your order.

If there is a certain book, print or color combination that you are looking for, do let me know. I have lots of prints that havent been scanned or listed yet, so i might just have something to suit.
I get a lot of emails every month from people asking the names of the books my prints come from. 90% of my stock comes from recycling centres and as such they have no covers or publishers details. The few that do have details have their covers and remaining pages recycled again within a week of arriving on my desk. Unfortunately i do not keep details of all these books on file.
As a rule i do not reserve prints for people. I have had countless people ask me to take prints down so they can purchase them in a week, only to never hear from them again. So if you like a print or a large bundle of prints please purchase them so you dont miss out on them.
