La storia dietro Queen's End™
Tutto è iniziato con un problema di vespe completamente fuori controllo. Parliamo di veri e propri sciami. Ogni volta che uscivamo dalla porta sul retro, ci sedevamo in veranda o cercavamo di goderci il giardino, ecco che arrivavano vespe, calabroni, vespe gialle. Di tutto e di più.
Abbiamo provato le trappole comprate in negozio. Hanno funzionato, più o meno. Abbiamo provato gli spray. Al massimo, una soluzione temporanea. Poi ci siamo imbattuti in una ricetta per un'esca che ha funzionato davvero, non intrappolandole, ma lasciando che la trasportassero fino al nido e sterminassero l'intera colonia dall'interno. Regina inclusa.
Il problema era il sistema di distribuzione. Una bottiglia di plastica appesa a un albero ha esattamente l'aspetto di quello che è: un'improvvisazione arrangiata. Non la volevamo nel nostro giardino. Così abbiamo progettato qualcosa di meglio. Una trappola a forma di barile di whisky stampata in 3D che si integra perfettamente nell'ambiente. Abbastanza piccola da poter essere appesa ovunque, costruita per durare e progettata per essere riempita più e più volte.
Abbiamo iniziato a farli per noi stessi. Poi per i vicini. Poi la gente ha cominciato a chiedere dove li avessimo comprati.

The Story Behind Queen's End™
It started with a wasp problem that was completely out of hand. We're talking swarms. Every time we walked out the back door, sat on the porch, or tried to enjoy the yard — wasps. Hornets. Yellow jackets. All of it.
We tried the store-bought traps. They kind of worked. We tried sprays. Temporary at best. Then we stumbled onto a bait recipe that actually did the job — not by trapping them, but by letting them carry it back to the nest and wipe out the whole colony from the inside out. Queen included.
The problem was the delivery system. A plastic bottle hanging in a tree looks like exactly what it is — a janky hack. We didn't want that in our yard. So we designed something better. A 3D-printed whiskey barrel trap that actually looks like it belongs there. Small enough to hang anywhere, built to last, and designed to be refilled over and over.
We started making them for ourselves. Then for neighbors. Then people started asking where they got it.
