My name is Jovan (pronounced Joe-Vahn). I live, work and create in the Hudson Valley (NY). I'm married to an amazing and kind geologist (a perfect match!) and am a mom to two dogs! I am a crystal lover and collector (hoarder), mala maker, Netflix binger, hiker and avid reader (novels and comics!)

I always dreamed of opening my own little shop, but I was always unsure of what it would consist of. I dabble in so many things! Then in the Spring of 2016, I made my first mala and I knew... This was it! The process came so naturally to me and I love pouring my heart and soul into my pieces. I know in my heart that this is what I'm meant to do and I hope with all of my soul that it speaks to you!

All of The Sacred Bunny's pieces are smudged in a way that you'll receive the highest happy vibrations from them! Before they are assembled, the beads/crystals are smudged with white sage and nag champa to remove any left over negative energy they might be holding. Then they are bathed in water with sage and palo santo essential oils for peace and calm. (If the piece cannot be cleansed with water, I use some sea salt.) And lastly they are charged in the sun for energy and light! I find that this combination makes for the happiest of pieces! I make my malas and bracelets in a quiet scared space and fill them with love and the purest of intentions. (And I also have my amazing friend Mal come and Reiki everything once and awhile! Woo!)
