Hi! I’m Emma! I love sewing and all everything that comes with it.

Here is my shops story!
I worked as a Florist since I left school until I had my son in 2008 when I gave up work to a full time Mum. I’ve never been one to sit doing nothing so being home while he was at school I would sew. It started with Christmas stockings, advent calendars, and quilt, but there are only so many of those you can do! Four children later and my friend and I got together and decided we should start up a little sewing company. We called ourselves “The Sewing Bumble Bees” because we “flitted” between things. One minute we were sewing one thing and then planning the next project. We would do craft fairs together which we both loved, especially the chance to have a good chat!

Then one day I was asked if I’d ever made a memory animal and would I make one for family member. Of course I said yes…..any excuse to sew and try something new. I posted a few photos on facebook and instagram and I was soon known as “the lady the makes the nice bears”.

One night I sat and added a few to Etsy, not telling anyone just in case nothing became of it as I never actually thought anyone would buy from me.

I love what I do. Each keepsake is different to the last and I love what they mean to the people they are for.
