Just me
The Sewing Croft was created by me, Zoe Roberts in January of 2012, based in the English Countryside from a beautiful studio in The Croft. Sewing is in my blood. My Grandfather was a Tailor and my mother is a seamstress.
In January 2012 our Etsy shop opened, listing a few handmade hearts and embroidered cushions, having all but abandoned it and realising that the market was flooded with these items I came up with the Postcard Pillow / Cushion. Totally and utterly unique. I have had a lifelong love with Winnie the Pooh. I found it so difficult to source pillows for my children's nurseries. That is the reason why I make these unique designs using E H Shepard's illustrations. I adore Pooh. I never tire of making a Pooh pillow and it gives me genuine pleasure to know so many others appreciate my pillows. My designs are with permissions.
To date we have over 10,000 sales in our Etsy shop, and over 20,000 in total online sales from customers literally all over the world.
We are and will remain, a business focussed on the customer and committed to remaining very affordable. Welcome to The Croft.

Frequently asked questions
What is fibre filled?
All of the pillows/cushions are hand stuffed and then hand sewn closed. The pillows do not come as a separate case and insert unless the option is available.
Why can't I buy these as a cover/case only?
Unfortunately I no longer offer zipped covers/cases due to the length of time they take to make and the very large volumes I handle.
How long will be pillow take to reach me in the United States?
On average I have found pillows take 14 business days to arrive via untracked standard airmail. However, our post office dictates we allow 28 days to arrive.
Can you discount shipping it is very high.
I only charge the exact amount as set by Royal Mail UK. Packaging supplies etc are included in the price of the pillow.
COVID 19
Mail delays are to be expected both in the UK and Worldwide. Unfortunately, these are beyond my control. Please be patient and allow sufficient time.
Can you personalise?
I purchase all my fabric several yards at a time, it is therefore not possible to personalise a standard pillow. Personalised pillows are available.

These are shipping estimates, we can not guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose AND the time of year.
Care instructions
Pillows are considered decorative and therefore require hand sponge to clean. They can be washed (on a very low temperature with a non bleach washing powder) however very well may loose their shape. Fabric supplied has not been prewashed. As with all new fabrics prewash on a gentle cycle.
Are they heat transfers or sublimation?
No. All our pillow fabric is professionally printed onto 100% cotton.
