From the creator of The Sky Scratcher comes your cat's latest obsession, Catnip Ninja! The same organic catnip spray we’ve been producing for over 8 years, with a fresh new look. We love cats and know after one spray, they’ll be hooked.
Why catnip? Because it’s an inexpensive treat your cats will love.
What is catnip? Catnip is part of the mint family, which holds over 200 varieties. The leaves of a catnip look very similar to your typical mint leaf and grows just as crazy. Catnip holds an essential oil known as Nepetalactone. Once a cat is introduced to said oil by way of diluted spray or the messier, dry leaf method, your cat will enjoy a euphoric, almost ‘tripping’ like state for 5-15 minutes depending on the dose or exposure. After their first interaction, you’ll understand why cats crave catnip. Usually one whiff and that’s all it takes. Just the smell alone will send them into instant playtime. They’ll become more energetic and add a little pep to their step. After your cat has warn itself out, they’ll start to chill out and settle in for a nice, long catnap.
When should I introduce my fur-baby to catnip? Most experts recommend waiting till about 6 months to a year before introducing catnip into their routine. It’s not the end of the world if they try some before then, just make sure you monitor their behavior. And like all good things, practice moderation. Too much of a good thing could lead to a higher tolerance. Also keep in mind that not all cats will react to catnip. There are a few kitties that don’t feel the effects of catnip. Just the way it goes sometimes.
How much is too much? With the Catnip Ninja Organic Spray, we recommend one to two sprays per ‘session’. Once you’ve introduced your cat to catnip, you’ll get a feeling for how much is too much. It’s highly recommended to monitor your cats behavior while they’re enjoying the experience. Some cats can over exert themselves while on catnip if they push themselves too far. Just take it easy the first couple of times till you know what to expect. Overindulgence can happen, but its very unlike your cat will overdose on catnip. If they do ingest too much of the leafy green stuff, however, they may become sick to their stomach. Trust your parental instincts to know when enough is enough.
Want to help us spread a few smiles around the world? Who doesn’t like watching cats on the internet? Even better, who doesn’t like watching cats on catnip on the internet?! Feel free to tag any of your cats good times via Instagram photos or video with #imacatnipninja and let’s show the world that cats truly are the better pet.

5 out of 5 starsThis stuff is WAY stronger than the hydrosol I'm replacing, so you need fewer sprays than you might think. The cat loves it!

5 out of 5 starsMy cats lose interest in their toys until I spray them with Catnip Ninja. I ran out and ordered more. Cats are happy again. Toys not as happy, covered in cat drool.

A few happy customers!
Felines take over our cites!
The Sky Scratcher was created for you & your feline friends to enjoy a little urban destruction with a twist of design focused inspiration. 2 1/2 years of R&D went into the first Sky Scratcher [Chicago]. I knew that it had to be a) aesthetically pleasing to the human eye & b) Eco-conscious in it's construction. If you're like me, cat toys need to be organic & safe for your cats & not look hideous in the living room.
Late in 2011, I used Kickstarter.com to drum up the initial investment funds needed to launch into production. I raised enough to purchase 100 units worth of The Sky Scratcher: Chicago & the original dies used to punch out each floor exactly to my specifications. Now, in early 2013, we have launched The Sky Scratcher: NYC, we're on our 2nd round of 100 Chicago's & have created the Subway Hug & Kick to accompany the cardboard city your kitties will love to destroy! All come with our Organic Catnip Spray to entice your little kitties into using their new toys & not your furniture.
Keeping the Eco-conscious & design friendly goals, I hope to bring new & exciting urban cardboard jungle themed scratching structures for you & your feline kids to enjoy for years to come!
Thanks for stopping by & please, tell your locally owned pet stores & feline loving friends about our products!
