Soft, sweet fragrance that is not heavy or coy. Can be worn by itself or layered.

I'm addicted to making pampering, smelly things, okay?

You are at The Soap Seduction where a passion for soap making meets the art of handmade! With the exception of my sugar bubbles and whipped body butter products (in which I use a quality, top-notch base), everything is handmade by me. All of my glycerin soaps (that's kosher glycerin) are made with a sulfate- and surfactant-free soap base meaning no alcohols or lathering boosters are added to the soap.

Many of my cold processed soaps are made with palm and palm kernel oils. There has been a lot debate lately over the use of palm oil in bath and body products because not all palm derivatives are harvested eco-ethically. My palm oil is purchased from a reputable supplier. The palm harvested for commercial usage is obtained ethically and without harm to the orangutans' natural habitat. With that being said, my soaps are green and clean!

I use a variety of fragrance, flavor, and essential oils in my products. I tend to stick with the same suppliers who are not just in the business of selling supplies, but who are soap makers themselves, so I trust that the ingredients I use are of superb quality. All of my fragrances oils and soap colorants are skin-safe.

Payment is expected at the time of purchase, however, I do allow up to 3 days for electronic payment. I will send 1 reminder e-mail on the 3rd day. If I do not receive a response, I will cancel your order. I currently accept electronic and e-check payments via PayPal, however, please keep in mind that I will not ship until payment clears. I work in banking, so that’s usually 3-5 business days (if not sooner). All orders shipped within the state of Maryland are subject to sales tax which is currently 6.5%.
New Shipping Schedule:

I ship domestically Monday-Saturday. During the summer months, if you order between Thursday and Saturday, shipping will not occur until Monday. Why? Because soap does melt when exposed to high temperatures or when sitting in a hot mail truck over the long weekend.

I now only ship internationally on Saturdays when shipping first class. Any package less than 13 oz will be shipped USPS first class international unless you contact me and are willing to pay the flat rate shipping fee. The same rules apply if temperatures are too hot or humid during summer months.

I do offer combined (Flat rate) shipping if requested. When you buy at least 3 or more bars of soap, I may be able to ship flat rate (provided I can fit them all into a flat rate envelope), and I’ll refund the difference to you.

I ship to the PayPal invoice. IF you want your order shipped to a different address, please, please, PLEASE let me know in the notes to seller. Otherwise, I will ship to the address listed in PayPal.

PLEASE NOTE: I've discontinued the superfluous packaging. That means no more gobs of tissue paper and ribbon and junk. I do wrap certain items in shrink wrap to protect the integrity of the product. I'm getting crunchier in my old age. I also use recycled packaging whenever possible. This means envelopes, tissue paper, and bubble wrap may be previously used. If you are shipping a gift, please let me know, so I can make it nice and purty.....
Refunds and Exchanges
Because of the nature of the bath and body and hygiene products, I cannot accept returns or exchanges, but I will replace any product lost or damaged during transit. Please read all ingredients carefully before making your purchase or contact me if you have questions. I am very convo-friendly, and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Handmade products are just that: Usually no two items will look the same and soap colors and textures may vary from batch to batch. Products containing vanilla may and will most likely brown over time. The item has not gone rancid; it’s just the vanilla rearing its beautiful, sweet brown head.

If you are pregnant or nursing, please consult with your physician before using or even handling any product that contains essential oils.
Additional policies and FAQs
I make no medicinal or miraculous claims with my products. I strive to deliver a fun, quality indulgence. If you have any questions or if you just want to say “Hi, you’re awesome”, please contact me:)
