Announcement   Welcome to The Spinnacle Fiber Arts, where passion eco-conscious materials and fine fibers meet. I'm Nicole, the hands and heart behind The Spinnacle, and I can usually be found in the studio, up to my elbows in string, bit of fluff sticking to my yoga pants, my hands stained in rainbow colors.

I am so passionate about color and texture, and feel like the human equivalent of the exclamation point! I'm happiest when I'm creating bold yarns with literary and pop culture inspiration!

Fresh from the dye-pot yarns, batts, and hand-dyed fibers added weekly.
Thanks for stopping by.

About

Crafting Nature-Inspired, Eco- Conscious Fiberish Creations is my Passion!

My passion for Color is tangled up in every aspect of my life, and it seems inevitable that this messy artist would have eventually learned to dye, and make her own yarn! Growing up, my hands were always knitting something, my eye to the lens of my camera, colorful culinary dishes, or the colors of the piano work I am playing. I dye, drum card and spin yarn with an eye on Mother Natures latest, stunning Color palates. I live on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada, whose dramatic landscapes of ocean, mountains, valleys, and evergreen Forest continually inform and inspire my creations!

I have a passion for sustainable materials, and crafting in harmony with nature. Organic wools and plant based silks are the foundation of many of my batts. I avoid fibers made by silkworms and fur for ethical reasons, but with a plethora of delicious plant-based alternatives, who needs 'em!

I took up spinning by chance, after being gifted some fiber for my 19th birthday. I thought that spinning would be much better therapy for my legs than physio, and I've never looked back! I use a wheelchair to roll around with and am currently battling Lyme Disease and c-infections. I spin, card and dye whenever I am feeling strong enough and knit all sorts of things the rest of the time!

Thanks for checking out my shop!
peace & love,
Nicole Bottles 💜

I'm a passionate fiber artist who can usually be found tangled in string, hands dyed multi-colors, with bit of fluff sticking to her leggings ;). I am color-obsessed and love connecting with fiber farmers and learning about new sustainable materials.

I love to create beautiful things, and want my customers to be happy with the quality products they receive. My two hands fashion items that are unique, so no two knitted, hand-spun or hand-dyed goodies will be alike. That's the beauty of hand-crafted creations!
I am a trade-friendly shop.

Please if you have any problems with your order.
Returns and exchange details
Your smiles are the reason I'm creating these goods. I want everything to be as perfect as possible but I am a human, not a machine. Things happen. Although I check items multiple times, if the product I lovingly created has a flaw, I would be happy to exchange it! When you find a problem, please contact me right away (within a week of receiving it), so I can get working on it A.S.A.P. Shipping is on your tab one-way (I'll try to make it as fast and as cheap as possible!), unless the error was on my part. We'll work something out. Please send things back in their original state.

I am sorry if things get lost in the mail; if you'd like to purchase insurance, feel free to contact me for an estimate.
Payment
I prefer to accept money through Paypal, to make your purchase simple, for security reasons. I will accept other forms of payment too (such as a paper check, or bank transfer); please contact me before purchasing :).

If you need to cancel an order for any reason, contact me as soon as possible.
Shipping
I ship to all galaxies, planets, countries, states and provinces. I'll have to check with the local post office for prices, which are listed as an estimate.

Once I receive your order, and confirm the details, I can give you a more accurate estimate on how long things will take to create. Usually I can put your package in the mail 2-3 days after receiving the order, or finishing something custom.

Whenever possible, I try to use gently-used envelopes to ship the goods, in order to keep one more pesky envelope from being created. It would be awesome if you could reuse the envelopes and pass on your goodwill towards the Earth in the process :)! If any padding is needed, it will probably be created from our local newspaper (a bonus! you get to read about all the exciting going's on in small-town Canada!).

I will refund (through Paypal) any surcharged shipping over $1.00. In the unlikely event you were accidentally overcharged, and I failed to catch the error, please just send me a friendly reminder.

If you'd like expedited shipping or insurance to anywhere, I am happy toinquire.

I'm hoping there will not be any additional fees, but buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Additional policies and FAQs
Wholesale sounds exciting, and I am game for these sorts of endeavors. Discounts for Lyme organizations!

All pieces are created by my two hands, so of course no two items are exactly identical. This is the beauty of handmade goods! Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the custom order photos.

Each creation is made with LOVE, a wonderful AND free ingredient that makes articles sparkle :). LOVE is non-toxic, great for the environment, and cruelty-free ;).
