Shannon is a talented gal who is accommodating and friendly to work with. This pattern is on my top 10 list of pieces to make and wear! It showcases chunky handspuns beautifully and is so versatile to wear. I'm sure it will become your favorite, as well.

Beautiful yarn that is art and wearable all on its own. I am never disappointed by my monkey friend <3

Subtle, rich, delightful colors on a shiny and lovely fiber. The gentle rustic quality of Wensleydale works so well with this colorway! Delivered super quick and with perfect packaging, too. Delightful!

The Spun Monkey is a love affair with process, with creative collaboration, with a patch of grass. Wool from small family farms is lovingly crafted into artful supplies for knitting, weaving and crochet or wet-felted into joyful adornments to keep you cozy.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
My preferred method of payment is Paypal. If you need to pay with a check or money order, I will accept that as well, but please note that shipping will be delayed at least five business days if I need to wait for a check to clear my bank.

Completed sales for which payment is not received within three business days will be canceled. Please contact me if you want to reserve an item or want to discuss alternative payment options. I'm flexible! I just need to know what's up. :)
Shipping
I ship all items within 2 business days of payment via USPS First Class mail. Please contact me right away if you require expedited shipping for your order. I will do my best to accommodate you, but additional shipping charges will apply. If you have paid for your order using Paypal, delivery confirmation is included for packages shipping within the continental US, but insurance is not included. Please contact me if you want to have your order insured, as The Spun Monkey is not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. ***PLEASE BE SURE YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS IS UP-TO-DATE*** If you use Paypal, I will be shipping to your Paypal address!
Refunds and Exchanges
If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, refunds or exchanges will be accepted within 14 days of the receipt of your purchase. Items must be in the same condition in which they arrived to your door (un-worn, un-used). Refunds or exchanges will not be given for custom orders.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom requests are happily considered.

I require a 50% deposit on custom knitting and/or a materials deposit on custom spinning, the balance being due upon completion.

Would you like to knit a sweater or crochet an afghan with handspun? Awesome. Just be sure to order the maximum amount of yardage so you're sure to have enough of the same colorway to complete your project. It is very difficult to repeat a hand dyed colorway to match a previous batch.

I will also do custom spinning of your own fibers from batts, roving or top, any amount. I will not take raw fleece for processing.

Custom carding is also available in small, one-of-a-kind batches from my drum carder.
