5 out of 5 starsVery sweet well made lamb exactly what I had been searching for, I like that it doesn’t have a cartoon character face. Just simple and classic

5 out of 5 starsHaving been the owner of two chocolate labs, it was love at first sight! Such personality, complete with a leather collar and heart just like my pups. Love is definitely a chocolate lab! Thanks so much for your creativity.

A little bit about me
My interest in needle felting began several years ago when I created my first little lamb using wool from our own sheep. I had quite a supply of our wool, which I initially planned to spin, knit and weave. But as a full time art teacher there never seemed to be enough time. So a few years ago I retired from teaching to spend more time on my own creative projects.
After I began felting, I found the process of taking a fluff of wool and creating a little creature from it most rewarding. Soon I had an assortment of animals overrunning my work area. Family and friends encouraged me to figure out a way to sell them and Etsy seemed like the perfect solution.
We moved to our small farm here in central Pennsylvania more than twenty years ago and our first three lambs arrived which we named Wynken, Blynken & Nod from the children's poem by Eugene Field. Over the years we've had up to seven sheep at a time and while sadly not all of them are still with us we have saved wool from all of them.
Our current flock consists of two Border Leicesters which have a nice soft wool that has been excellent for my needle felting, and one Barbados Black Belly sheep which are a hair rather than a wool breed. The wool is washed and carded before I begin felting.
I have always had a love of animals of all kinds and that is where I find my inspiration. I hope you enjoy them and thank you so much for visiting.
