I bought this sampler to learn and practice embroidery. It has been a lot of fun to work the different stitches and a good quality fabric to work on. It took some getting used to covering up the outline, but I think that just takes practice. Highly recommended!

About

All items in my shop are completely designed, crafted, and stitched by me. My goal is to create patterns and items for you and your home that are beautiful and useful in a manner that combines traditional techniques and charm with contemporary aesthetics and bold color.

I grew up on a small family farm in Michigan and learned to love working with my hands. My grandmother, who worked as a professional seamstress, taught me to sew. After an undergrad in art school, I began to revisit the mediums of my childhood, finding comfort in them while living far from home as well as portability and economy.

I am inspired by being able to tell stories using color, memory, stitches, and fabric. I enjoy being able to share my work with you and hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
