The Style Underground is an indie accessories label that specializes in luxury headwear and scarf-tying video tutorials. Our goal is to design fashion-forward headwear that is slip-resistant and easy to put on, then teach you how to rock them.

The story begins at the famed Parsons School of Design in New York City. I loved wearing dazzling headscarves, but such scarves were scarce and often too slippery. So I launched this business to fix all that, and began by sewing our signature cotton-lined triangles by hand in my tiny New Jersey apartment.

Six years (and several kids!) later, our original headwear designs are carefully constructed in an upscale NYC garment studio. Our scarves and hats are made with fine fabrics and close attention to detail. We are also proud to announce our new line of handmade jewelry to complement your ensemble.
