Frequently asked questions
What are your business hours?
Business hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
I may respond to inquiries after these times, but I try and stay away from designing on weekends so I can spend time with my family.
How do I print my stationery?
We always recommend using a professional print shop to print your designs for best results, and we encourage you to support small business.
If you do decide to print your invitations at home, please ensure your home printer’s settings are set to print “actual size” or 100% (not shrink to fit) AND “best print quality” is selected.
How should I trim my stationery?
Most print shops will do this for you.
But if you are printing at home, this job goes very quickly and easily! Our files will include trim lines as well as a 1/4” (3mm) bleed for any artwork that runs to the edge of the paper.
You may also use an X-Acto knife and a ruler to make straight and even cuts. Simply place your paper on a rubber mat an line up the ruler with the crop marks on the paper. Easy peasy.
How do I print my large signs?
It’s really easy! Simply upload your signage artwork to any online printer. Might we suggest Officeworks (AU), Vista Print (AU & USA), Staples (USA) Each of these printers are able to print on various sizes so please double check which size you need to purchase from me ahead of time.
We recommend printing your signs on foamboard. The most popular size for Australia is A1 size, and for USA the most common size is 24 x 36".
It is your responsibly to check the printing turn around times at the print shop that you choose. Be advised, that most print shops require 5-7 days for printing.
