Creating is a life practice.

I have been creating art ever since I was little. My mom was an artist and an art teacher, and she always encouraged my sister and I to be creative. Whenever she was working on a project, she would give us supplies to play with as well, and every Christmas she helped us make homemade gifts for friends and family. My mom is no longer here with us, but I like to think I am continuing her artistic legacy <3

My artwork is inspired by the magic and whimsy of the natural world. I am excited by something as simple as the unfurling of a fern or the changing cycles of the moon.

I am naturally drawn to expressing these themes through block printing, as the hands on process forces you to embrace imperfection and constant change. I also love painting with watercolor because it helps me practice patience and it imparts wonderful personality and life force to natural objects.
