Greeting! My name is Teresa Clayton from the northwestern-most part of Wisconsin. It gets cold up here. Perhaps that is why I love wool so much. I love noodling and doodling with wool. I love spinning, poking, felting, knitting, crocheting, weaving and dying it all sorts of colors.

As "The Treadler" I've sold wooligan dolls at another site for over 5 years and have 100% positive feedback. In 2007 I created my etsy account and then dove into a big pile of wool and, much like Rip VanWinkle, I lost track of time. My plan was to sell novelty art yarns, but every time I spun up a new one I just "had" to knit it myself. (Hard to develope an etsy shop when one pilfers one's own wares.)

Fast-forward 3 years it is with tremendous self-discipline that I now declare I shall only knit every 3rd skein I spin. (I love making earflap hats. I love saying, "earflap hats".) I shall list my other skeins here along with some of my assorted woolen adventures.

If it is listed in this shop it is hand made, home spun, pattern-free and definitely of wool.

Refunds and Exchanges
I care greatly about my reputation as a textile artist. All of my one-of-a-kind woolen works have been hand dyed and processed by me alone. My fibers come from a pet-free, smoke-free environment.(I don't even own a cuspidor.) Clothing items are new and one-of-a-kind. Because I guarantee that nothing in my shop has been previously owned by another customer I cannot accept returns. This does not mean I won't do my very best to please you. I love, love, love return customers and strive to be deserving of them!
