I want your shopping experience here at The Turquoise Bicycle to be a great one, so please let me know if you have any questions I can answer for you.

I've made sure that the colors in the photographs are as accurate as possible on my computer screen, but please remember that screens may vary. I will be happy to answer any questions about colors to make sure you know exactly what you are getting!

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
I take care in packaging your purchase so that it arrives on your doorstep in perfect condition. Of course, things can happen in transit so please contact me with any concerns about the arrival of your items or the quality of the product you received. If you are dissatisfied with any item please let me know and I will be happy to work with you to make it right. If that can't be done I will take unused and unwashed returns on a case by case basis and refund the cost of the item.
Payment
Sales tax of 6% will be added to all Maryland purchases.

If you ask me to set up a custom listing, please be ready to purchase the listing within 24 hours.
Shipping
I try to ship most items the next business day after receiving a cleared payment, excluding weekends and holidays. Please note that I do take Sundays off, both from sewing and from actively manning my shop, so orders placed on Sunday will be packaged on Monday and will ship on Tuesday. Thanks for understanding. :)

I ship all packages through USPS First Class or Priority Mail, depending on the size of the order.

Shipping rates can be adjusted if you are purchasing multiple items. Send me a message if this is the case and I will adjust accordingly.

I will do my best to let you know when your package has shipped.
Additional policies and FAQs
I would love to work with you on one of a kind item just for you! I can do custom fabrics in an existing design in my shop or we can collaborate on a new style. Please check out my current listings for an idea of my style but feel free to send me images of bags you enjoy and I will work with you to create the perfect item.

Once we discuss the details for your item, I will create a reserved listing for you and will begin working on it once I receive 100% payment. Custom orders will take anywhere from 1 day to two weeks.

If for any reason, you should change your mind during the custom process, please let me know. I will be happy to issue a refund excluding cost for any supplies purchased and a non-refundable custom fee of $5.

Custom orders will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. Priority goes to those who have paid.
