Welcome to The Upstairs Room!
Presently, I sell mostly stuffed creatures of various species, as well as random objects that have no business being made into plush toys. I also feature handmade jewelry. My favorite critters to create are owls, bats, bunnies and cats (hey, that rhymed). Anything goes when it comes to the objects, but generally you'll notice a common theme - and that would be 'nerd'. Embrace your inner nerd! If you have a request for a certain sort of animal or object, contact me. Perhaps we can brainstorm.
I also make kitty toys, stuffed with organic catnip. I support recreational catnip use amongst felines!
I try to create things in a manner that I find endearing; maybe you'll agree. I hand sew almost EVERYTHING - this can be painstaking, but I think it's worth it.
I also draw and paint, and will soon expand to include other items, but all of that is a future surprise.

Returns and exchanges
Refunds and exchanges will be dealt with on a case by case basis. All items are eligible for refunds/exchanges unless specifically noted otherwise. Let it be known: I'm overly fair and on your side.
If you are unhappy with your order for some reason, I do ask that you contact me before leaving negative feedback! I want you to be happy. Seriously. Smile. There you go. I'll work with you.
I'm not responsible for USPS damage. I'm rather meticulous about careful shipping, so unless an elephant sits on your package, it should arrive to you in good form.

Payment
I accept all forms of payment - personal check, money order, and paypal. It goes without saying that if you want to go the check/money order route, I have to receive your payment first and the check has to clear before I ship anything. Also, please convo me and TELL ME you are paying with a check or a money order, if that's what you're doing. Otherwise, I'll just think you're not paying for your item in a timely manner and get all kinds of upset.
Please pay for your item within 2 days. If you need an extension, convo me privately and we can discuss. Otherwise, I'll re-list the item after the 5 days, but of course I will contact you first to see what's what.

Shipping
I ship to your ETSY ADDRESS so make sure it's correct! :) Unless you want an upgrade, all items will be shipped first class, unless size requires it to be mailed priority. If I can't fit your item into a 12x12 box, or if it's something that requires careful or specific packaging, we'll discuss what's best, but generally I'll send larger things via UPS ground delivery. Insurance is available upon request. I will ship internationally. If you're outside the US, want insurance or an upgrade in shipping, convo me first.

***ALSO, PLEASE NOTE: I have two adorable, long-haired felines living with me. They are banned from my sewing area and I go to great lengths to keep all items fur-free, but occasionally a stray evil little wisp here and there may prevail. Of course, this is rare, but worth mentioning.
