Over 20 years of quality vintage interiors, restorations and upcycled furniture

Kitsch-n-Kaboodle began in 1997, outfitting local consignment shops and design/decorating boutiques with refinished and faux painted furniture, lighting and accessories, as a means of putting myself through design school while studying film, television and theatrical production.

In 1999 I branched out online into an ebay store, which remained open for 10 years and was at one time published in ebay's magazine among the top 5 retailers on ebay in the used and vintage/antique furniture categories.

Over the years I have dabbled in estate liquidation, fine art and collectibles consignments, vintage lighting restoration, collectible toys, and a host of other related sidelines as opportunities presented themselves. I have learned to be open to new developments in the decorating and collectibles markets and never to put all of your eggs in one antique basket.

I can however ship furniture almost anywhere.

I am a crating and shipping specialist with 23 years experience, offering affordable delivery nationwide and world-wide. If it can be shipped, I will ship it, and I was one of the first furniture retailers on ebay in the late 90s offering low-cost used furniture delivery internationally.

Based currently in northern New Jersey and formerly of Philadelphia, I have had clients as far away as Melbourne and Tokyo. I have shipped large furniture across multiple continents. There is no job too large or too small, and there is no place too far away.

Welcome to my new furniture showcase. Based in northern NJ, my shop is less than one hour from NYC, and only one mile off I-78. I can show items in person at this location by appointment.

Returns and exchange details
WARRANTY & RETURNS:
Items are old/used, even when they are remade anew, or made from recycled parts, and they are one of a kind with little possibility of a precise replacement. There is no way to guarantee such an item with absolute certainty.
For this reason, all items are sold as is, as-found, as shown, with no warranty, either express or implied. No returns. All sales final.

SIGNING FOR DELIVERY:
Signature is required for shipments whose value is $50 or higher.
When signing for your shipment, you are also signing for proper condition. A delivery receipt is a legal document stating the item is received IN GOOD ORDER. If your order arrives with clear, obvious damage, the buyer may refuse to sign or may sign clearly the word "DAMAGED".

ALL DAMAGE MUST BE NOTED ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT. If not noted on the delivery receipt, a claim cannot be processed.

Damages are not returns: Please do not return a damaged article. Accept the damaged shipment by notating the damage on the delivery receipt and contacting me immediately. If there is no place to write it (such as UPS electronic tablet) clearly print "DAMAGED" in the signature space. Keep all parts and all contents, including packing materials, and contact the seller within 4 days. Send photos if possible. Damage notifications received after 4 days of receipt cannot be accepted.

CLAIMS:
Buyer agrees to cooperate with all shipping company damage/loss claims procedures and to accept the terms and payout reimbursement the shipping company provides. Seller is not responsible for shipping loss or damage.
Blocking the shipping company from inspecting the damaged article, or retrieving the article for claims processing, and any chargeback or payment reversal of the original purchase from the seller will automatically void a claim.

The claims process is outlined by law, in 3 stages: shipping company has 30 days to acknowledge the claim; up to 180 days to investigate and resolve the claim; 30 days to remit a claims check.
Most claims are completed must faster than this, on average 2-3 weeks, however buyers and sellers are bound to accept the time allowances outlined by law.


Damage/loss claims only cover original purchase price, and will not pay for any other costs or expenses for inconvenience or time, appreciation, or replacement cost. A claim may only be placed once. If the damaged article is returned to the buyer from the claims inspection administrator, there is no subsequent insurance coverage. If a claim is approved for the full purchase price, the shipping company may have salvage rights to the article and may elect not to return the item to the receiver. The buyer and/or seller do not have the right to retain the product in that event, at the discretion of the shipping company.
Payment
Visa/Mastercard, Discover, American Express accepted through Etsy's checkout system or through Square.

Payment methods by mail: money order, personal check, business check, subject to clearance with a waiting period.

Layaways welcome, with flexible terms determined on a case-by-case basis. In most cases I expect a deposit of at least half the purchase price, with subsequent monthly payments of no more than 12 months total pay-off.

Shipping
I am a small, independent seller with no other employees to handle custom-crating and large-item specialty packing. I do all of this by myself, which must be interspersed with my normal day-to-day schedule.

As furniture items require more tedious, time-consuming, and laborious packing efforts and scheduling, the buyer's patience and flexibility is a must. Do not expect large furniture to be custom crated and shipped next day.

Because items are antique/vintage, and because I sell in person locally as well, it is not possible to have items pre-packaged for immediate shipment. I do not pre-package before payment. If mailing payment, your order will be crated for shipment after payment clearance, which will lengthen delivery time.

Small items are typically dispatched within 48 hours of order placement and payment.

Most large items can be prepared for shipment within 7-10 days, but some larger more difficult specialty packaging, or orders including multiple pieces may take longer.

Any arrival times I may provide are estimated only. Many delivery estimates will depend on receiver cooperation in coordinating final delivery efforts and being available at the place of delivery to sign for the shipment.

My furniture is professionally packaged for safety in transit. In some cases I may use professional white-glove or blanket-wrap delivery services, where available. I offer fast, personal delivery up to 3 hours drive from my home location.
