Welcome to thevibrantearth!

I am lucky to live in one of the most biologically unique areas in California, where the Cascade Mountains meet the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Unique flora surrounds me, supporting a diverse web of life and fueling my creativity.

I am a member of the California Native Plant Society and am finishing my B.A. in Environmental Studies. I am passionate about Ethnobotany and conservation and spend my free time researching historical uses of plants. I am an herbalist, however it is your responsibility to make sure you know what you are consuming. With that said, I am cautious about which plants I use in my products and purchase organic, fair-trade, and earth-friendly materials to supplement my wild-crafted products.

WILDCRAFTING POLICIES: I do not collect rare, endangered, or threatened plants for my products. Where possible, I use plants I have grown in my native plant garden. When collecting in the wild, I collect less than 20% of a given species when it is in abundance. I am careful to make sure that evidence of my collection is not visible and to emulate browsing done by animals. Conservation of native flora is of utmost importance to me.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have and I will be happy to respond. I hope you enjoy browsing through my shop. Thank you for visiting!

Returns and exchanges
I do not accept returns or exchanges once a product has been opened. In the event that an item needs to be returned, you are responsible for the shipping cost and there will be a 10% restocking fee. If I have made an error, please contact me.

If your item arrives having been damaged in transit, please contact me so that we can arrange a refund.
Payment
Payment must be received in full before item is shipped. If payment is not received within 3 days from the date of the order, it will be cancelled and negative feedback will be left. Communication is essential here, so if there are special circumstances please contact me so we can work something out.
Shipping
Within 24 hours of your order, you will receive a note from me indicating that I have received your order. In most cases, your item will be shipped within 1-3 days unless indicated otherwise. The default for shipping is USPS standard, but I am happy to do expedited shipping for an additional charge. Please contact me for rates when you place your order.

I am also happy to ship directly to the recipient if your item is a gift - please include a note for me indicating their address and if you would like me to include a gift message.

Items will be shipped to the address on your PayPal Account unless otherwise specified by you. Please make sure this address is up to date.
