Announcement
Hello there my crafty friend! Welcome to my shop. Thank you so much if you made a purchase or contributed funds for the 16 days of activism to end gender-based violence. Because of you we were able to donate a total of $700 to the ACWS (Alberta Coucil of Women's Shelters). These funds will be matched by Epcor for a total of $1400! So thank you once again.
Sweater Kits for the "After the Storm Cardigan" from Kelly Fowler Designs are dyed to order. I have refilled my base stock for this item, so processing times are minimal. Please contact me for exact timelines. If you want the pattern, you may purchase a digital download of Kelly's pattern through the shop or find it on Ravelry.
Also available on my site is Kelly's pattern for her newest release which is the "Winter Hours Cowl".
If there is something that you do not see in the shop and you are interested in having me make it for you, please feel free to drop me a line.
All colourways in the shop are repeatable unless otherwise noted.

About CraftyThatWay
All The Crafts, All The Time
I first began my etsy shop in May of 2011. I have crocheted for over 20 years, but I would say this adventure started in 2009 when I decided to teach myself to knit. In doing this I ended up learning more about wool, fibre production and quality artisan yarns. I ended up falling down a crafty rabbit hole of epic proportions and also acquired a few rabbits along the way! In 2010 I stumbled across Ravelry and through this social media site I discovered a community of like minded individuals. I met a great group of local knitters who soon became close friends and avid supporters of my journey into the fibre arts. I began dyeing my own yarn in late 2010, and started spinning in early 2011. I also started to dye my own spinning fibres around this time. My friends loved what I was creating and encouraged me to start my own shop on Etsy selling what I was making. Through an intense brainstorming session, we came up with the name of the The Wacky Windmill which I ran for almost 5 years. In 2016 I needed to close shop for personal reasons but have always missed it and the sense of community I felt as a seller. This summer I decided to reopen the shop and once again provide my handmade products to the crafting community and the general public at large. Crafting is my passion, and I am always working at developing my skills in a variety of areas. I love knitting, crochet, spinning, and weaving. Other pursuits that interest me are cross stitch, embroidery, sewing, candle making and formulating skin care products. I hope to eventually incorporate a wide variety of items into my shop that reflect all of my crafting interests. The fibre arts have been a great adventure, and I hope to keep exploring this strange and wonderful world at the bottom of the rabbit hole I have fallen into. I love creating and I love my little shop, and I hope you love being a part of this adventure with me!
Take Care & Happy Crafting
