5 out of 5 starsI’d lost one of a similar pair and searched for replacement. These are attractive, nice quality and light weight. They also go with everything. I’ve had 2 weeks and worn many times already.

About TheWildRoses

Newly dismantled crate from metal roof sheeting. 16-foot lengths!! STOLEN from our yard on Thanksgiving weekend!
-
Where I'm from - The family farm on the Canadian prairies, as seen from above, circa 1937.
-
The farmhouse of my childhood, in Springbrook District, Saskatchewan, Canada.
-
Inspiration from the past - my maternal grandmother and her 4 sisters. Prairie girls in the '20s.
-
Inspiration now - Waves at high tide crashing down on the rocks where we like to picnic and find our beach treasures!
How the Wild Roses grew ...
From the wild prairie roses of my youth, to the wild roses that grow along the rocky shores of the St-Lawrence, roses have always been in my life, and now in this Etsy shop.
Introduced to Etsy by my crafty daughter, I realized that Etsy might be just what I was looking for. This is where I can share some of the items and projects that occasionally take over my life and space.
Finally, the inflatable life raft is out of my basement as a result of assembling family energies. The raft was rescued from the dumpster, where it was headed because it had outlived its useful lifespan. Salvaged pieces include straps, black rubber, orange and blue sailcloth. You can see some of these in my shop.
Another project accomplished was the dismantling of 6 huge wooden crates that carried the metal sheet roofing for our house. Fantastic material for projects present and future! But the horrible occurred - this pile of amazing wood was STOLEN from our yard over the Thanksgiving weekend in early October!

Shipping
I always ship standard delivery by Canada Post. Approximate shipping time is 6 -18 business days within North America. Depending on where you live and if it's the holiday season, it can take longer. In addition, sometimes packages get held up in customs.
Please note: there is no tracking number with this mail service except within Canada. Once I put it in the mailbox, it's literally out of my hands, and we must both leave it up to CanadaPost, USPS and the customs officers. This service is reliable, though on occasion takes longer than expected. If you prefer a faster method, just let me know and I will find it for you.
