Biasimo il mio adorabile cugino per avermi introdotto all'emozione assoluta di prendere alcuni bastoncini e lavorare con loro per creare un oggetto utile e bello. La mia casa è piena di cose fatte di salice. E quest'anno sono diventato un coltivatore di salici e ho piantato un letto di salice nella nostra assegnazione comunitaria in modo da poter fornire il mio salice convii il prossimo autunno.
Ho iniziato vendendo mangiatoie per uccelli nel mio quartiere. La risposta a loro è stata fenomenale. Poi ho iniziato a insegnare agli altri come farli. Adoro ogni aspetto del lavoro con il salice.
Ora siamo così consapevoli della necessità di vivere dolcemente sul pianeta e questi prodotti di salice sono un modo pratico e bello per rendere attraente la tua casa e il tuo giardino senza che costi la terra.

I blame my lovely cousin for introducing me to the absolute thrill of taking some sticks and working with them to create a useful and beautiful object. My house is full of things made from willow. And this year I became a willow farmer and have planted a bed of willow in our community allotment so that I can supply my own willow withies next Autumn.
I began by selling bird feeders in my neighbourhood. The response to them was phenomenal. Then I began teaching others how to make them. I absolutely love every aspect of working with willow.
We are now so aware of the need to live gently on the planet and these willow products are a practical and beautiful way to make your home and garden attractive without it costing the earth.
