Welcome to The Windy Mill Studio!

I'm Erika, a Montana farmgirl who is just the slightest bit obsessed with windmills (hence the name).

I am a traditional artist who has fallen in love with digital painting, and an illustrator of children's books. I also love carving lino blocks for hand-printed artwork and I am working on a brand new line of lino block farm notecards! I welcome custom projects and I love to hand-letter, so if you would like to commission a special saying or illustration feel free to send me a message!

All of my lino block cards are from hand-carved block and are printed by hand one by one, so every one is a little different. I believe the charm of these lies in their imperfections--they are perfectly imperfect!
