A Little, Local, Linocut + Letterpress shop

Welcome to The Windy Mill Press!

I'm Erika, a Montana farmgirl who is just the slightest bit obsessed with windmills (hence the name).

I am a printmaker, a traditional artist, a digital painter, and an illustrator of children's books. But my current obsessions are letterpress and linoblock relief printing, and I add to my line of farm-inspired notecards all the time. I have an antique Chandler and Price platen press and an ever-growing collection of wood type, so check back often as I create new signs and cards with these cool old tools!

All of my lino block cards are from hand-carved block and are printed by hand one by one, so every one is a little different. I believe the charm of these lies in their imperfections--they are perfectly imperfect!

Thanks for stopping by!

Keep on turning. . .
