Accepted payment methods

All charges, including shipping/handling and applicable sales taxes, are quoted in US dollars via emailed invoices.
Paypal is the only method of payment accepted; payment is expected within 48 hours of purchase, unless otherwise negotiated, or the sale may be cancelled. Items will be shipped once the full payment is processed, though split payments (a deposit up front and balance on delivery) may be requested for large orders.

Unless otherwise requested, thewoodcave ships all items using standard USPS or UPS delivery. Priority and Express Mail services are available for additional fees. International shipping, although not always listed, is available for all items. Please convo us before time of purchase to receive estimated shipping costs for your location. Once a purchase is made, we will send a revised invoice. Be advised that any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery are at the discretion of your country's tax regulations. thewoodcave is not libel for calculating how much these fees will be, should they occur, and will not be responsible for payment. For additional information refer to your local customs agency. Most orders are shipped within 14 business days of receiving payment, unless otherwise specified. Custom Orders are processed per our agreement with your Custom Order. If we cannot get you the items on time we will notify you and cancel your order.

All order status communication is done via ETSY and email, so it is important that your email address is accurate and current. You will receive an email confirmation at the address listed on your payment. Please check your email. Also, PLEASE BE CERTAIN YOUR NAME IS CORRECT AND YOUR ETSY AND PAYPAL ADDRESSES ARE THE SAME TO AVOID CONFUSION AND DELAY! We are not responsible for shipping to an address that is not kept current by the buyer. If you provide an invalid shipping address at the time of order and your package is returned to thewoodcave we will NOT re-ship it unless you pay to have it re-shipped. We reserve the right to refund you the purchase price and cancel the sale.
Items damaged or lost in shipping will be handled using USPS (or carrier method) policies.
We will happily combine shipments to save you money. Shipping fees do not necessarily represent USPS or other published rates and may include handling charges levied by this store.
Gift shipping is available; please use the buyers comments section to indicate if the order is a gift, along with the shipping address and any message you would like us to include.
Whenever possible recycled packing and shipping materials (shredded paper, re-used boxes, ect.) will be used to help conserve our environment. If you are sending a gift or prefer only new packaging please include this in your buyer comments.

For Custom Orders, we encourage customers to place orders 6-8 weeks prior to when the item is needed, and we highly recommend allowing up to 4 weeks for delivery.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact us within 48 hours if there are any problems with your order. Customer Service is our main priority and we will do our best to make you happy!
If neutral or negative feedback is left without any attempt to contact thewoodcave so that we can respond and/or correct your order you will NO LONGER be eligible for a return or exchange. By leaving feedback you are completing the transaction.

Special Consideration for CUSTOM ORDERS:
You may cancel your Custom Order at any time.
However, we do order supplies just for your order.
You will receive 75% refund if your order is canceled 8 weeks prior to your expected shipping date.
You will receive 50% refund if your order is canceled 6 weeks prior to your expected shipping date.
You will receive 25% refund if your order is canceled 4 weeks prior to your expected shipping date.
Outside of these time frames, there are no refunds on custom orders.

Custom order will only be refunded if the failure to please is on my part (wrong colors, designs or materials). We cannot resell most custom orders. Due to customs fees, returns will not be accepted on international shipments.

We do not and cannot guarantee USPS (or other carrier) deliveries. We try our best to provide you estimated delivery dates, but we rely on Carriers/Customs to deliver your package.
We will not refund any custom order as a result of non-delivery or late delivery. We do not refund any custom order for lost or stolen merchandise.
If any items are damaged during transit, please contact us immediately and do not use the item(s). We will ask you to send us photograph of the damage so we can file claim with the carrier.
Please contact us for directions on how to receive a replacement.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are welcome. Please convo us with specific requests. Assuming we're capable of completing what you're looking for, we will put together a detailed bid for the project. Once you approve the project, you will be invoiced directly from thewoodcave. Payment in full is required to commission custom items, unless otherwise negotiated. Work will not begin until payment is received.
