Love the coasters. Terry was also great about letting me know there'd be a shipping delay from the snowstorms, and they arrived quickly anyways. Recommended

Welcome. The Woodshop is a one person shop in my backyard. After personally handpicking the wood to ensure quality, I make each item one at a time. They say you can tell the history of a tree by its rings, and through those rings a story is told. I love the history behind each piece and look forward to sharing with you the background and genesis of each work.

I think wood encapsulates all the beauty of God's good creation. Turned with the wood's natural beauty in mind, I look to make each work unique.

I just like wood.

Additional policies and FAQs
I will be glad to prepare custom orders within my abilities. Wood shrinks and expands and moves and cracks on occasion. It is part of the charm (within reason, of course) and the reason you buy hand-made custom pieces. I will sign and date a piece if you choose. Who knows, if I get to be famous, someday it will be worth a lot of money with my signature. Then again maybe not.

Note that the finish on many bowls may or may not be food safe. Consequently, I do not recommend using my work for food unless you request it in advance and I will add a food safe finish. To be clear, these items are not for use with food.
