5 out of 5 starsI loved this card as soon as I saw it. A little girl with pink cheeks and pony tails. She is embracing a beautiful bunch of flowers in shades of yellow, oange, red and white. The pastel background. Is lovely. Quick shipping and carefully packaged. Thank you, Lisa Manton

About thisisalliknow
oil paintings by amanda blake
Working primarily in oil paint on wood I paint in two series. My work on wood panels which range from six inches to 36 inches square uses symbolism, superstition and narrative to explore themes of love, fate and identity. Over the past seven years I also have been working on a series of imaginary portraits on small wood blocks. I have painted hundreds of these little people with near identical composition, I am fascinated by the personality that can come through in such simple paintings.
I received my BA in fine arts from the University of Oregon, studied watercolor in Siena, Italy and oil painting and print making at the Chautauqua Art Institute in New York. I was born in and spent most of my life in Oregon and currently live in Morgantown, West Virginia.
